On the occasion of our ten-year anniversary, we presented a special exhibition about the work we do at the Sternenbrücke in the lobby of Hamburg's City Hall from 4 to 14 June 2013.
During the 11-day exhibition, many visitors took the opportunity to find out more about the work we do at the Sternenbrücke.
48 large info panels containing caring and empathetic texts were put up in the impressive lobby of Hamburg's City Hall; they provided information about the various care services at the children's hospice and the loving rituals that we practice at the Sternenbrücke. We also showcased photos of the hospice premises and of special moments from the past decade.
The visitors found the exhibited letters from "our" families and sick young people in which they talk about their experiences at the Sternenbrücke and grant insight into their lives particularly touching.
For the Sternenbrücke the exhibition was a great success, and we are grateful and proud that so many visitors showed interest in our work and that we had the opportunity to exhibit in this special place.
