In August 2014 we set up a biweekly Sewing Workshop for "our" parents, a further creative offer in addition to the Painting Workshop. The Painting Workshop gives parents the opportunity to discover the joy of sewing. Two of our staff members, passionate sewers themselves, provide expert support. Because many of "our" sick guests also suffer from physical abnormalities and therefore often require special clothing, which is very expensive, the Sewing Workshop also has a practical use for the affected parents, allowing them to make their own clothing at a low cost. Depending on their interests, wishes and needs, the parents can also use the two-hour workshop to make accessories, cuddly toys and much more.
The parents also appreciate having time for themselves, talking to other affected family and expressing their creativity.
