The donation-financed children's hospice Sternenbrücke provides respite care for affected families for at least 28 days a year during the long period of illness, to give them the opportunity to recuperate and gain new strength. Targeted offers stabilize the family system and help the relatives to gain strength and to find relaxation. Sternenbrücke also supports the families during the final stage of a child's life. Even after the loss of the child, Sternenbrücke continues to support the families in their grief.
