Our mission
Common values are the foundation for successful collaboration. Learn more about our philosophy.
We cannot give life more days, but we can give days more life.
Our mission statement
We started developing a common mission statement in 2023. Consisting of vision, mission, and values, it is intended to form the basis for our actions and daily work.

Our vision
Our vision is that the dignity of young people with life-shortening illnesses and their loved ones remains inviolable in life, in death and beyond. We are thus at the heart of society.
Our mission
We create a place where seriously ill children and their families can find time, support and comfort.
Our values
Guided by these values, we support young people with life-shortening illnesses and their families with care, warmth and attention under the safe umbrella of professionalism.
-

Trust
We are reliable and place our trust in the strengths and skills of each individual – this creates the space for responsibility, courage and innovation.
-

Clarity
We communicate openly, clearly and in a committed manner – clear statements and transparent processes are important to us in order to provide guidance.
-

Quality
We share knowledge, are constantly learning and are continually developing – regular reflection ensures the quality of our work.
-

Mindfulness
We focus our attention on the present moment and treat one another with respect, empathy and consideration – to foster a strong sense of community.
Our WHY
Our WHY explains why we dedicate ourselves every day, with passion and conviction, to the people entrusted to our care. And it shows what we stand for, what drives us and what inspires us.
