Christmas time & moments full of warmth
When the days grow shorter and the scent of pine branches and freshly baked cookies wafts through our house, a very special time begins at Sternenbrücke. The weeks of Advent and the run-up to Christmas are marked by little rituals, shared experiences and moments of closeness – moments that do our guests and their families good and give them strength.
Music connects
Once again this year, our afternoon event ‘Sternenbrücke sings’ showed us how much warmth there is in singing together. Families, guests, colleagues and volunteers sang, laughed and shared their anticipation of Christmas.
A very special musical moment was the visit by Rolf Zuckowski. As familiar Christmas carols such as ‘In der Weihnachtsbäckerei’ rang out, our house was filled with joy and Christmas magic. Our guests, their families and staff sang along and enjoyed the afternoon and the special warmth of our celebrity guest.

Creative breaks
The Christmas family day was a creative affair: together with Petra from our housekeeping team – a trained florist with a big heart – families lovingly crafted Advent arrangements. The scent of pine, warm lighting and small details allowed everyone to immerse themselves in the pre-Christmas season for a moment and created beautiful memories to take home with them.
A decorated tree
Decorating our large Christmas tree in the fireplace room is also an integral part of the Advent season at Sternenbrücke. Amidst Christmas music, quiet conversations and mutual consideration, a moment arose that shows what this time of year means to us: solidarity, mindfulness and the conscious coexistence of guests, siblings, families and staff.
At Sternenbrücke, the anticipation of Christmas is palpable. The shared experiences of the past few days have filled our home with light, warmth and many small moments of happiness – moments that will remain with us.
Together through 2025
An eventful year lies behind us. In this video, we look back on special moments together and express our heartfelt thanks for every form of support. Our board of directors addresses a personal message to everyone who accompanied Sternenbrücke 2025.
