Management meeting of inpatient children's and youth hospices
On April 8 and 9, 2025, the Sternenbrücke children's hospice hosted this year's meeting of the directors of inpatient children's and youth hospices in Germany. The event took place at the Hotel Hafen Wedel and was complemented by a tour of Sternenbrücke.
Networking
The intensive and constructive discussions focused on the results of various working groups – for example, on the structural development of hospice work, the introduction of digital training opportunities, and the establishment of a nationwide trainee program .
In addition, ideas were put forward on topics such as mission statements, quality assurance, nursing assistance, and a possible standardized admission process. The diversity of ideas and the willingness to engage in open exchange made the meeting a special moment of collegial networking.
